Privacy Policy

The short version: we collect what we need to run Anyware OS, we never sell your information, and we only send marketing to people who ask for it.

Who we are

This policy covers the Anyware OS apps for iPhone, iPad and Android, the Studio service, and this website, all run by Anyware ("we", "us"). If something here isn't clear, write to us at privacy@anyware.app.

What we collect

  • Account details. If you create an account, for example to use Studio, we keep your email address and the name you give us.
  • Purchases. Subscriptions and Anyware AI top-ups go through the App Store or Google Play. We receive a record of what you bought and when, not your card or payment details.
  • Studio and Anyware AI. When you use Studio, the descriptions you write and the apps it builds are processed to create those apps, and we record how many credits each request uses so we can bill and show your balance.
  • Support. If you contact us, we keep the conversation and whatever you choose to send.
  • Technical information. Basic details such as app version, device model and operating system, and diagnostic information when something goes wrong, so we can keep Anyware working.

Your notes, files and the things you do on your desktop stay on your device unless you choose to send them somewhere, for example by using Studio or uploading a file in the Browser.

How we use it

We use your information to:

  • provide, maintain and improve Anyware OS and Studio;
  • manage your account, subscription and Anyware AI credits;
  • answer your questions and send you service messages, such as receipts or security notices;
  • protect Anyware and its users from fraud and abuse, and meet legal obligations.

We don't sell your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own advertising. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who run parts of Anyware for us, such as hosting, payment processing through Apple and Google, and the AI models behind Studio. They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
  • Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of our users and others.
  • A successor, if Anyware is merged or acquired, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information.

Marketing is opt-in

We only send news, offers and other marketing to people who opt in to receive it. You can opt out at any time with the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or by writing to us. Opting out doesn't stop the service messages your account needs, such as receipts.

This website

This site doesn't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Like most websites, our servers keep standard logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as your account is open or as needed to provide the service, and afterwards only as long as we must for legal, tax or accounting reasons. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal information.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct, export or delete your personal information, or to stop using it for a particular purpose. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as the GDPR or the CCPA, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority. Email privacy@anyware.app and we'll respond within the time the law requires.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, such as encryption in transit and limited access. No service can promise perfect security, so we can't guarantee it, but we'll tell you and the relevant authorities if a breach affects you, as the law requires.

Children

Anyware isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal information. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we'll also tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect.
